The popular bait of the day was shrimp and marshmallow at the children’s fishing derby sponsored by the Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine, California Fish and Wildlife and The Daniel Hernandez Youth Foundation. The event brought hundreds of families to El Dorado Regional Park for fresh air and a great day of bonding, fishing, lunch and raffle prizes.
