With bone-chilling temperatures overtaking our region this past week most of the notable lakes have finally become safe for fishing. Seeing a few hard permanent shanties popping up on Great Sacandaga Lake over the last few days, it’s safe to say that most places will be fishable by this weekend and with the high temperatures not getting out of the teens for at least the next 10 days the ice making forecast is looking fantastic.
