Outdoors editor Josh Rouse caught this 15-inch, 1.72-pound rainbow trout – his first ever – with a blue and silver Little Cleo on Lake Shawnee’s opening morning of trout fishing at 9:05 a.m. Nov. 4. The lake was closed to fishing for several days following the stocking Oct. 28 and reopened at 6 a.m. that Saturday. Outdoors editor Josh Rouse caught his second trout of the opening morning Nov. 4 at Lake Shawnee while fishing with a red Z-Man ShroomZ jig head and a neon pink Z-Man GrubZ curly-tailed grub.
