The two brands joined to create a documentary series that spans the entire globe

Want to take a peak at the entire world without the trouble of traveling? Discovery Communications and Google partnered together to develop a virtual reality experience called TRVLR where the user explores all seven continents.

The experience features 38 unique episodes broken up into seven chapters for each of the continents. Each episode focuses on a different culture and location of that region. In the experience viewers will have a 360 degree perspective to look around their environment as if they were actually standing there.

TRVLR launches on YouTube, DiscoveryVR.com, and the Discovery VR application on November 3 for free. It does not require virtual reality headset to work.
