Kids get ‘hooked on fishing’ at Wonboyn

Last weekend saw the Merimbula Big Game & Lakes Angling Club’s annual trip away to the Wonboyn Lake Resort. Not thwarted by strong winds, the angling fraternity spread out over the estuary and returned dusky flathead, feature of the "Mex Williams Memorial Fishing Competition", plus tailor, bream, estuary perch, trevally and lovely whiting .
