Frigid weather is giving ice fishing fans reason to celebrate

Lone ice fishers, groups of friends and duos of father and son reported ice thickness of 4-6 inches on the Saginaw River on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017. He said the first half of the week will be in the teens and by Thursday and Friday, the temperature might have a tough time getting above zero for most of the day.
