A holidaymaker has described the harrowing moment he watched two brothers get swept out to sea by large freak waves as they fished from rocks near Padstow. Andrew Thornton told the inquest into the deaths of his brothers-in-law, Robert and Charles Allen, how the trio were fishing off rocks in Pepper Cover, near Treyarnon Bay, in September of last year when the sea swirled around Robert as he paced around after failing to reel in a fish.
