Skippers in the north Auckland coastal community of Leigh have added their fishing fleet’s pledge to help improve environmental care and transparency within the industry, and stamp out illegal practices. North Auckland commercial fishermen are the latest to add their backing to a new New Zealand industry-wide code of conduct to reel in illegal practices.
