A former soldier stole so much fishing gear from huts on the banks of the River Isla that he didn’t have enough room in his car for it. Forty-five-year-old Allan Steele was then forced to abandon some of the 2000 worth of equipment as he made his getaway – and then discarded further items at a cemetery in Coupar Angus.
