This time of year as I cross the Arkansas River bridge, I am always amazed how the temperature rise in the Arkansas River Valley affects the number of anglers on the river. Because as it heats up and things settle into a summertime pattern, the big fish of the Arkansas River seem to magically turn on! There are a number of ways to catch these fish from trot lines to a simple reel and rod.
