Fishing Contest Fun

Kids took a break from fishing with rods and reels to play with some of the catch already turned in at the New Ulm Sport Fishermen Club’s annual Childrens’ Fishing Contest at Riverside Park Wednesday evening. The weather was perfect, the river wasn’t too high, and about 200 kids registered for the chance to catch some fish, like Joey Haas, 4, below, who helped Matt Wetzel and Elizabeth Frederickson pull in this catfish.
