Salmon River Hatchery conducts Open House and Family Day Sept. 22

Visitors can celebrate the 36th annual National Hunting and Fishing Day at the 22nd annual Salmon River Fish Hatchery Open House and Family Day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the hatchery, 2133 County Route 22. “The DEC welcomes everyone – children, families and outdoor enthusiasts – to the annual Salmon River Fish Hatchery Open House to learn about and experience the unrivaled recreation opportunities in the Salmon River Corridor,” said Region 7 Director Matthew Marko.
