Man falls through ice on Silver Lake near Lake Park, IA

Authorities say an incident Thursday morning on Silver Lake near Lake Park, Iowa should serve as a reminder as to just how dangerous the ice is right now . The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office said 78-year-old Dennis Gildemeister of Lake Park, was ice fishing and fell through the ice this morning on the south and west side of the lake, off of Country Club Drive.
