Hosting Minnesota Hockey Day not in near future for lakes area

St. Cloud State played the University of Minnesota-Duluth in a women’s hockey game at Lake George in St. Cloud on Saturday, Jan. 20. The game was part of Minnesota Hockey Day. The annual Minnesota Hockey Day has become a premier winter sports event in its first 12 years as it showcases various levels of hockey programs with players competing on outdoor rinks at host communities around the state.
