Aged angler drowns in fishing pond

An angler, 70, drowned in a fishing pond in Nakhon Pathom province on Friday after he fell while to trying prevent his fishing rod from being pulled into the pond. Police said the body of Preecha Lertloipanyachai, 71, was found by scuba divers after a five-hour combing of the bed of the Sampathuan Fishing Pond in Moo 4 village in Tambon Sampathuan in Nakhon Chaisri district.
