Winners of fishing contest announced

The final results are in for youth ice-fishing contest during the annual Mayfield Community Carnival at Mayfield Lake on Feb. 10. Elyssa Van Every of Mayfield took all three places for pickerels: 25 1/8, 24 1/2 and 23 3/4. In the perch category, the winners were Austin Adams of Mayfield, first place with a 10 5/8-inch fish; Joey Berlin of Clifton Park, second with 9 inches; and Sigurd Olsen of Mayfield, third with 8 1/2 inches.
