Shelters in Southern Minnesota must be removed by the end of the day March 5. Owners of shelters not removed by the deadline will be prosecuted, and the structure and contents may be confiscated and removed, or destroyed by a Minnesota Department of Natural Resources conservation officer. NEW ULM – Southern Minnesota ice fishing shelters must be off the ice by the end of the day Monday, March 5, according to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources .
