Large turnout at Unity fishing derby despite weather

There was every kind of weather imaginable at the fifth annual T-Pot Memorial Fishing Derby at Unity Pond March 3. Snow, rain, sleet and a huge gale did not keep anglers from drilling holes, setting up traps and having fun on the lake. By 10:30 a.m. there were a least 200 participants, according to event coordinator and Unity Fire Chief Blaine Parsons.
