A little lesson (or not) in fishing etiquette on the Rocky River

While water temperatures are still several degrees away from a hot bass bite or even some good crappie fishing, it was the perfect week to hit a Lake Erie tributary for some spring steelhead fishing, and then cap the week off trying to hook some stocked trout at Silver Creek Metro Park outside of Doylestown. For the past three Wednesdays I’ve tried to get on the Rocky River for some steelhead fishing, hoping to land one of the bruiser silver bullets before they head back out into Lake Erie.
