There is sure to be plenty of action on the waters off Garry Point Park next Sunday as the 71st annual Bullhead Derby gets underway. It’s a time-honoured tradition that when the annual Bullhead Derby rolls around in June, you had better be getting ready for the Steveston Salmon Festival on July 1. This year’s derby, the 29th installment, will take place Sunday, June 24 at 9 a.m. at Garry Point Park.
