Because of our close connection to tourist destinations like Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, it is no surprise that Maryville and Alcoa welcome thousands of visitors each year who take in our mountain views and natural waterways. I would guess a number of these folks are not motivated by the allure of go karts, air-brushed tees, or brick-o-block sized fudge.
