The Double Uni Knot is a great way to connect different materials–for instance, monofilament and fluorocarbon or braid. The “96 method” is for anglers who learn better through visualizing the knot. By preparing the lines so they form the numbers 9 and 6, you can set yourself up to tie the two sliding knots.
