Video Pro Tip: How to Tie the Double Uni Knot with the “96 Method”

The Double Uni Knot is a great way to connect different materials–for instance, monofilament and fluorocarbon or braid. It’s not a difficult knot to tie, but I always enjoy seeing new ways to tie knots because different people’s brains and fingers work differently. The “96 method” is for anglers who learn better through visualizing the knot. By preparing the lines so they form the numbers 9 and 6, you can set yourself up to tie the two sliding knots. Simple, huh?
